The spirit of the festive season was in full swing on Friday as Isolo Chairperson, Mrs. Olajumoke Olasoju, and her spouse, Olasoju Adebayo, hosted a grand Christmas party for more than 250 children on the council premises.
With the theme of ‘A December to Remember,’ the event saw children between the ages of 1 and 10, accompanied by their parents and guardians, come together in a joyous celebration.
In his opening remarks, Olasoju shared the true meaning of Christmas with the excited children and encouraged them to aim for excellence in their future endeavors. He also emphasized the importance of avoiding harmful behaviors that could hinder their growth and success.
The celebration featured various fun-filled events, such as dancing competitions, games, and raffles, creating an energetic atmosphere. Children enjoyed the inflatable bouncing and slide castles, while Unifood Nigeria, the producer of Rio Pop, provided gift packs for all the young guests.
In a memorable moment, the council boss joined expectant parents on the dance floor and announced that they would receive delivery kits as a gesture of appreciation for their attendance. This unexpected surprise added an extra layer of joy to the already festive occasion.
