The Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Mr. Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello has felicitated with residents, Lagosians and Nigerians at large on the occasion of the country’s independence day.

The Chairman who commemorated the independence day with pride and gratitude says he celebrates the resilience, courage, and selfless sacrifices of the great nationalists whose unwavering dedication secured the freedom and unity of our beloved nation.

As we commemorate this momentous event, I encourage all Nigerians, particularly the residents of Lagos and the Ejigbo community, to remain steadfast in promoting national unity, peace, and understanding.

Let us take pride in our diverse cultures and draw strength from our shared values, embracing our responsibilities and rights as citizens to collectively shape a brighter, more prosperous future for Nigeria.

By joining hands and actively participating in the democratic process, we can overcome challenges, seize opportunities, and secure a better tomorrow for ourselves and generations to come.

Together, let us continue to contribute our individual and collective efforts toward building a stronger, more united, and greater Nigeria that we can all be proud of.

May the labor and sacrifices of our heroes past never be in vain.
