Executive/ Legislative Parley: Adedeji Reiterates Commitment To Lagosians

The representative of Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr. Adewale Temitope Adedeji, attended the 18th Executive/Legislative Parley at the EKO Convention Centre from 14th-16th March 2024.

 

Adedeji emphasized the importance of the productive working relationship between the executive and legislative branches, assuring further collaborations for the benefit of all Lagos residents.

 

 

 

One of the key points discussed at the parley was the importance of addressing the current and future needs of Lagos residents through a smooth collaboration between the Executive and Legislative branches of the State Government.

During the event, speakers and panelists talked about crucial issues impacting citizens’ lives that the Government is responsible for solving by better coordinating the work of both branches of Government.

 

Participants emphasized the necessity for all arms of Government to work together, prioritizing public interest over personal agendas to foster citizens’ trust in the government.

 

Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, along with members of the Lagos State House of Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, National Assembly representatives from Lagos State, former Governors and Deputy Governors of the State, members of the Governor Advisory Council (GAC), State party leaders, and other political stakeholders were all present at the event.

 

Mr. Adewale Temitope Adedeji, who chairs the House Committee on Transportation, expressed satisfaction with the progress in the Ministry of Transportation, highlighting the recent commissioning of the Red Line from Oyingbo to Agbado by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in February.
