Foremost women’s football media house, Soccer Queens is set to host it’s maiden edition of it award ceremony where it intends to honor phenomenal talents in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) across all tiers.
The Soccer Queens Award is a significant initiative to honor the outstanding players from the 2022/2023 NWFL season.
The players to be awarded were carefully selected from the NWFL Premiership, Championship and Nationwide, where they excelled and showed significant improvement in their career.
Speaking to ECHONEWS exclusively, renowned Women’s Football advocate and organizer of the Soccer Queens award, Moses Bako highlighter the importance of the award ceremony in honoring the best players in the league.
“We want to appreciate the individual talents and coaches in the NWFL following their impressive performance and achievements in the past season,” he said.
“This is just a way of encouraging players in the league to continue to excel and put in their best performance week in week out.”
The Soccer Queens award will hold on the 27th of October at the Media Center of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin.
