Encomium as Oshodi-Isolo LG Completes Rehabilitation of Oredeyin Street

In continuation of his drive towards giving the local government a facelift and providing the needed infrastructures to business owners and residents of the local government, the chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has completed the rehabilitation of Oredeyin street with installation of solar street light.

The council boss who declared state of emergency on roads on his assumption of office is not resting on his oars as he continues putting smiles on the faces of property, business owners and residents of the local government through his unrelenting infrastructural strides.

Residents of the street could not hide their happiness as they trooped out to shower encomiums and prayers on the chairman for rehabilitating their streets, which they said had not been tarred for over 70 years of its existence.

An elated business owner, Alhaja Ramota Ajishafe was full of gratitude to the chairman for hearing their cries and coming to their aid.

She said; “I cannot hide my happiness and gratitude to our chairman, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede, he has proofed that he is indeed the son of the soil. I am extremely happy for his intervention on this street. He did not only construct the street, he also installed street light. May God light his path and crown his efforts with success”.

Another business owner, Mr. Monday Nkwaoude equally stated that he has been on the street for over 40years and he is happy that there is a chairman that has remembered the street. He disclosed that the rehabilitation will in no small measure boost business activities in the street.

While speaking with media crew, Otunba Oloyede disclosed that the rehabilitation of the once dilapidated road with street light is part of the resolved of his administration to continually embark on people oriented projects that will positively impact on the people and their businesses.

He said; “I am happy we are able to yet again deliver on our electoral promises to the people. We are working for them and we appreciate their support and patience with us. We will work on as many roads as we can in addition to other sectors of our economy.”
