Newly Created Lagos Ministry of Tertiary Education Begins Visitation to Institutions
A team of the newly created Ministry of Tertiary Education has embarked on visitation to the state owned tertiary institutions in the metropolis.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM has received the Monitoring Team from the state secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor, (Administration), Prof. AdenikeOmotunde Boyo received the team on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM.
The team was led by the Director, Inspection and Monitoring Department, Dr. (Mrs.) Yemisi Omoloye to discuss matters concerning the staff, students, university growth and development.
Other members on the MTE’s team were: Deputy Director, Mrs. Ibidapo – Obe Olubunmi, CEO, Mr. O Ajilore, ACEO, Mrs. A.O Adebiyi, EO1, Mr. Edu Bayo and EO1, Mr. OyafunkeOluwaseun.
The Vice Chancellor was joined at the meeting by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Olufunsho AbayomiOmobitan, representative of the University Bursar, Mr. Adekunle Odunlami (Deputy Bursar, Budget & Lagos State Government Matters) and University Librarian, Dr. Emmanuel Layi Adebayo.
The Deputy Registrar, Vice Chancellor’s Office, Dr. LateefShekoni, Special Assistant to the Vice Chancellor/Deputy Registrar, Dr. Lateef O. Salami, members of the Vice Chancellor’s Office and Centre for Information and Public Relations (CIPR) were equally in attendance.
