Alimosho Arts Community organise essay competition for community students

A Community-based group, Alimosho Arts Community Initiative, is organising an essay competition for graduate and undergraduate students in the Alimosho community.

The competition, which was broken down into three categories, is titled, “My Alimosho, My World in 2023 – 2025.”

Key points prospective contenders would be expected to explore would be how they think Alimosho will be best governed to be effectively positioned in the global, economic, and political sense by 2025.

They would also explore the main developments that will define the Alimosho community and Nigeria, in general, in the future.

The various award categories are as follows; Above and Beyond Academic Awards (Undergraduates and graduates), the Artfully Creative Award (All Secondary Students), and the Enthusiastic Learners Awards (all classes aged between 7 and 25 years).

The competition, which is endorsed by the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture in partnership with Olabs Greenlyte Awards and others, is expected to bring together scholars across the six LCDAs of the Alimosho LGA.

To participate, entries are to be submitted before midnight of August 8, 2023, to alimoshoartscommunity@gmail.com.

Cash prizes to be won are worth over N100,000, including gifts for participants.
