Residents call for infrastructural devt
By Motolani AbdulGafar
The residents of Ibeju-Lekki LG have appealed for the execution of infrastructural facilities in the area.
They said the council area majorly lacks basic amenities that are important to the survival of every community.
Infrastructures such as electricity and road, among others were said to be the most lacking ones in the area.
Speaking on a social media timeline, Ibeju Lekki Decide, Kehinde Ajetunmobi cited the instance of his community that has been without electricity for the past 16 years.
He said infrastructure and social amenities should be part of the provisions that would be determined while considering the most fertile Local Government.
Supporting Ajetunmobi’s claim, Lanre Lot added that street lights, drains and other amenities are importantly needed at the grassroots level.
He said as for the development of big projects in the council which are not directly beneficial to the residents, the government cannot be said to have successfully achieved.
They, therefore, appealed to the council authority to make development even and spread across the community.
