Nasarawa Amazons lost at home to Confluence Queens 2-3.

The Amazons lost in their week five game and the first match of the new year to Confluence Queens 2-3.

Confluence queens chioma moses scored an early goal in the 10th minute while Aweda Titilayo equalised for the home side in the 24th minute. At exactly 45 minutes, Chioma Moses again scored for Confluence Queens taking the lead to the half time break.

The second half began with Amazons playing under pressure but were pressing high which gave Amazons a result with a classic goal as aweda Titilayo again played a volley displacing Jiwuaku Linda in the goalpost with another equaliser in the 68th minute and in another 5 munites Confluence Queens took the lead as Opara Mary make it 3 for Confluence Queens in the 73rd minute.

The match ended 2-3 in favor of confluence Queens as they get their first NWFL Premiership 2022/2023 season win away from home.

Nasarawa Amazons players were so disappointed with the result but will go back to the drawing board to see how to pick up with an away win as they visit Adamawa Queens next week in Yola in match day 6 of the NWFL Premiership 2022/2023 season.
