HRA Youth Cup will have big impact in players lives – Hon Seyi Jakande

The 2nd edition of the HRA Youth Cup saw winners emerged in different categories as top political personalities led by the executive vice chairman of Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon Seyi Jakande graced the event in style.

The tournament which focuses mainly on the development of the age grade football players and exposed them to a competitive level.

Speaking to ECHONEWS, the executive vice chairman of Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon Seyi Jakande described the tournament as a nice one which came into being as an avenue to direct the energy and time of the youths to a productive state and have a big impact in their lives.

“It’s a very nice tournament and the motive behind the HRA Youth Cup is to direct the energy and time of the youth to a productive state, the tournament will have a very big impact in their life.

“Today been the final is obvious that the finalists have come through different stages of victory at different level.

“For me, I think we have come to witness the best of the teams within Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA and everybody today is a winner and we have demonstrated that by either going home with a medal or going home with the trophy.”
