North York settle for a draw against Box2Box FC

North York FC refused to concede deafeat at home as they came from a goal down to settle for a draw against Box2Box FC.

The game was a battle of tactical brilliance as both teams played great and delightful game.

The Isolo base side, North York FC, failed to register a goal in the first half while Box2Box FC ran away with a lone goal lead to the break.

Box2Box FC took the lead with a delightful finish to raise the tempo of the game.

North York FC were unlucky to get a goal in the first 45 minutes of the game despite dictating proceedings for larger part of the game.

As North York FC kept on the good form ahead of Fusion Football Championship 2021, Box2Box FC did not find it easy to pick up the maximum point despite the halftime lead from them.

North York FC were able to get an equaliser in the game through a deflected shot from Anu Egundupe which fell onto the part of Seun Dada who made no mistake in finding the back of the net to level the score line.

The game ended in a 1-1 draw.

North York FC is to face Charlesann FC next as they prepare for their engagement in the upcoming Fusion league.

North York FC’s coach, Olukunle Idowu, said the game was a high intensity one, adding that the introduction of fresh legs into the game at half time secured a draw for the Isolo based club.
