The Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos State chapter, Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) has commended the Isolo-Ejigbo branch B Chairman of the Union, Alhaji Olufemi Olowu, for his effort to open new branch office in Ejigbo.
The new office is at No 12, Adewale Adenuga Street, Ejigbo.
Akinsaya, after inspecting the new office commended the union and its branch chairman for working together for the progress of the union.
He said the branch executive members have shown their commitment, charging them to always uphold the policy of the Union.
The grand Chief Imam of Ejigbo, Alhaji Mukaila Sanni, who led the prayer session at the opening of the new office, admonished the union members against rivalry, warning them never to seek the downfall of others.
He charged them to be prayerful and always seek God’s favour rather than engaging in unholy acts.
Speaking after the programme, Olowu who expressed happiness over the opening of the office, said he felt fulfilled for achieving the feat.
He commended the state chairman of the unions for supporting him towards the development of the Union as a whole in Lagos State.
Olowu therefore urged all the union members to keep working hard for the progress of the union in Ejigbo and the State as a whole
