As part of preventive measures to curb the spread of Coronavirus in the community, Ladipo Community Development Association (CDA) has embarked on community sensitisation on the virus, educating members on how to avoid being infected.

The executive members of the association said that have taken it upon them to provide educative hand bills on how to prevent the spread of the virus as well as the proper usage of hand sanitizers.

Speaking in the exercise that was carried out on all the streets within the CDA such as Leshomi, Atanda, Ayorinde, Club roads and others, the CDA chairman, Olasupo Oriola, said it was their own little contribution to the government efforts to curtail spread of the deadly virus in communities.

He charged the residents to adhere strictly to the government’s regulations of stay-at-home to avoid being infected.

The CDA Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mr. Abayomi said: “Taking public sensitization programme to the community is of great importance to stop the spread of Coronavirus because some people don’t know how to go about avoiding the disease.

“The fliers which display the DOs and Don’ts would go a long way to help keep high level of personal hygiene in the community.”
