CY UNITY CUP – Brave FC edges out Divine Restoration on penalties

Both teams played out a thrilling 3-3 draw to pave way for the penalty shootout which was won by Brave FC.

Mesu of Divine Restoration FC scored the opener in the 10th minute.

Brave FC equalised in the 15th minute through Anthony Ndubusi.

Mesu doubled the lead for Divine Restoration FC with a spectacular free-kick on the stroke of half time.

Hakeem Olaleye brought Brave FC back on level terms for the second time in the 55th minute.

Brave FC took the lead for the first time in the game in the 62nd minute through Azeez Habeeb.

Paul of Divine Restoration FC scored the equalising goal in the 74th minute and to level the score line 3-3, which was enough to see both teams to the penalty shootout that was eventually won by Brave FC.

Divine Restoration FC lost two spot kicks to hand over victory to Brave FC.
