26 Vessels Carrying Petroleum, Food Commodities Expected At Lagos Ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced that 26 vessels carrying petroleum products, food commodities and other cargoes are expected to arrive at Lagos ports between August 30 and September 13, 2026.
The authority disclosed this in its Daily Shipping Position released on Monday in Lagos.
According to the NPA, 12 of the incoming vessels will arrive with containers carrying various goods, while four vessels are expected to deliver aviation fuel.
The remaining 10 vessels will bring consignments including crude oil, petrol, sugar and bulk salt.
The vessels are also expected to discharge other commodities, including bulk urea, diesel, fertiliser and bulk wheat, alongside the petroleum products and other cargoes.
Meanwhile, the NPA said 19 vessels are currently undergoing cargo discharge operations at Lagos ports.
Their consignments include bulk urea, containerised goods, general cargo, bulk pallets, diplomatic cargo, petrol and bulk gas.
The vessels are carrying out operations at the Lekki Deep Sea Port, Apapa Port and Tin Can Island Port.
The expected arrival of the vessels comes amid continued activity across Lagos’ maritime corridor, with the ports handling petroleum products, agricultural commodities, containers and other essential cargoes for the Nigerian market.
