2021 LG Elections: Elections commence in Oshodi, Isolo, Ejigbo

Voting has commenced in Oshodi-Isolo LG, Isolo and Ejigbo LCDAs with low turnout.

Although the elections commenced at 8:30am in some polling units in Ejigbo and some minutes after 9am in some polling booths in Isolo, electorate are still being expected to come to cast their votes.

In Isolo, electoral officers left LASIEC’s office in Isolo Secretariat around 8:15am for various polling units in Isolo LCDA and the officials have settle and set up their materials while election process has commenced.

At polling unit 08 in Alagbeji Ward and polling unit 09, Holy Saviour, electoral activities election commenced after 9:00am.

The preceding officer who simply identified himself as Yusuf at policing unit 08 addressed agents of APC and PDP and few members from both parties who were readily on the ground.

He sued for peace and peaceful conduct amongst members of the party and charged the agents to mobilize their electorate noting that the election process will stop at exactly 3pm.

He explained that the green ballot box is for the chairmanship candidate while the yellow is for councillors.

Election has also commenced at Oke-Afa Ward in Ejigbo.
