No fewer than 150 women from various groups in Isolo LCDA assembled to join the Women wing of unity Forum.
The new entrants formalised their intentions at an elaborate ceremony held at the Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency 2 office 61, Ire Akari Road, Isolo today, Wednesday, 19th May, 2021.
The women who are politicians, artisans and non- politicians from the 7 wards of the LCDA were led by the women leader of the All Progressive Congress in Isolo LCDA, Mrs. Bisola Saka aka Nene and were received into the group by Mrs. Johnson.
In her remarks, Hon. Bisola a former Legislator said Hon. Ganiyu Abiodun Johnson is the Man to be with for any lover of progress and development, in view of his sterling performance in his first term in office.
Bisola who was delighted at the decisions of the entrants for joining the progressive team, enjoined them to be committed, faithful and loyal. She therefore asked them to feel at home.
Mrs. Johnson in her welcome address was delighted to receive the new members into the group. She said their coming meant that they had decided to join the progressive train and stay with the group that stands for development.
“We are happy to receive these 150 people into our fold. We want to congratulate them for leaving darkness for light,” Mrs. Johnson said.
She tasked the women for maximum cooperation and dedication while assuring them that the era of “monkey dey work, baboon dey chop” has become a thing of the past as everyone would be rewarded accordingly.
She promise that she and others will continually contribute their quota to take the women forum to greater heights.
Meanwhile, all the aspirants for upcoming Local Government elections from the group were officially unveiled to the admiration of all present.

Hon. Muniru Hakeem Abiodun as the Chairman.
Hon. Remmy Shittu Remmy from Apena Ward.
Hon. Wasiu Durojaiye aka. Indomie from Alagbeji ward.
Prince Yusuf Abolaji Apena from Akinbaye ward.
Hon. Kehinde Ajala Kabirat from Ishagatedo ward.
Hon. Usman Adele Samtao from Okota ward.
Hon. Nofisat Shobayo Lawal from Ilasamaja ward and
Hon. Chidiebere from Ajao Estate.
Dignitaries at the occasion also included the wife of Chairmanship aspirant Mrs. Sumbo Muniru and Mrs. Jabar Sherifat, APC stalwarts from the LCDA just to mention a few.
