MTN, Huawei, LSETF Partner Isolo LCDA To Train SMEs On Digital Skills

Telecommunication giant, MTN, and leading technology company, Huawei in conjunction with Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) and Isolo LCDA has organised a training for the business owners in the council area on digital skills.

The council chairman, Hon. Olasoju Adebayo reiterated that partnership with organisations in the execution of human-centric programmes and projects for the betterment of residents in the council area remains cardinal to his administration.

Olasoju made the statement when he addressed beneficiaries of a training held at the multipurpose hall at the council secretariat.

Olasoju, in his short address, lauded the multinationals for making Isolo LCDA one of their destinations, adding that the doors of the council area remain widely opened to individuals and companies who desire to partner with the council in undertaking impactful programmes and projects.

The programme featured exquisite training on digital marketing, social media and Fintech maximization such as Monday.com, MOMO PSB as well as website to grow businesses.

Speaking on why Isolo LCDA was among the four council areas selected across the state for the exercise, the General Manager, Service Management & Governance MTN, Mrs. Ude Enebeli, explained that the council area is a big business hub that can’t be overlooked for such an initiative.

She explained that the program has become important to support the council authority’s efforts in helping artisans and SMEs utilise the abounding benefits of social media and the internet, as well as mobile banking via the usage of Momo App – an MTN-powered Payment Service Bank.

Other highlights of the programme were the distribution of devices such as Laptops, Inverters, and power banks among others.

Enebeli corroborated Olasoju’s call on residents to make the most of the training and devices to improve their various business ventures.

A female beneficiary, Mrs. Funmi Oguntoye who smiled home with a brand new laptop appreciated the organisers and the council administration, promising to deploy the knowledge and device gained to diligently promote her business.
