A youth group in Low Cost Housing Estate, Isolo, Estate Youth Parliament (EYP) has rolled out their plan for the year while seeking philanthropists’ intervention for proper productivity.
The president of the group, Yusuf Adeyemi said the group plans to introduce academic quizzes and debate to boost the academic standard of residents in the council area.
He said visitation to elderly people’s homes and General Hospitals would be conducted to disburse palliatives as they intend to show some love to the old and weak.
Adeyemi added that previously organised programmes like free medical care, marathon exercise, and community games among others would be developed as they want to reach the standard of the international level.
He highlighted that previous demands from the government such as street lighting, and primary school reconstruction among others would be revisited to ensure approval from appropriate authorities.
To ensure the productivity of all scheduled programmes for the year, the group appealed to philanthropists and government for support for the group to achieve its goals.
