The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members and their Accord Party counterparts have listed the structure and track record of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) as the magnets which attracted them to the party.
On Thursday, August 29, 2019, 33 PDP members led by Hon. Kolawole Fagbenro and Chief Adewale Akinlusi, and two Accord members, Yusuf Jimba and Oladele Ogunbowale, formally dumped their party and joined APC.
The decamped members who expressed joy over their acceptance into the party promised to give full commitment to the progress of the party.
Hon. Kolawole Fagbenro, who spoke for PDP said there was going to be a second set of people from the PDP who would equally join APC as some of them were already preparing to leave the party.
Also speaking, Hon. Adewale Akinlusi thanked the party leaders for accepting them into APC.
