The chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Olowa, has said he is running and will continue to run a community-oriented governance that would have a listening ear for the people.
He made this known at the stakeholders’ forum organised for the preparation of the 2023 Budget of the council.
Olowa noted that his promise which is to reaffirm to the community of his dedication is not to be taken as mere speech as they would continue to put in their best to execute all proposed projects from the community.
He said the essence of the stakeholders’ meeting is to get to know more about the needs of the community.
He confirmed that all proposed projects from the community as tendered by the stakeholders would be reviewed and worked on in the coming year.
He, therefore, appealed to the community for their continuous cooperation as he stated that the council can not fully actualize their needs without their support.
