The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Gbenga Fajuke, said the party will soon embark on campaign for its candidates across the local council area.
Fajuke, in a chat with ECHONEWS, debunked the rumour that the party will not campaign in order not to waste its resources, insisting that the party would never concede defeat before election.
He explained that the campaign was delayed for a while due to confidential reasons, saying the party needed to resolve some internal challenges before embarking on massive campaign for its candidates.
He assured that the controversial issues would be resolved without delay as he appealed to the electoral umpire to conduct free and fair elections.
He emphasised that the party would soon flag off campaign to intimate all residents with the manifestos of each candidate of various electoral positions in Ejigbo.
He appreciated the efforts of party loyalists for their concern towards the development of the party in Ejigbo LCDA.
