A man identified as Saheed Azeez is facing prosecution for stealing a car in Yaba Lagos.

Azeez was said to have behaved in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace by selling the car without the consent of the owner.

The charges alleged that sometime in 2021, at Alagomeji, Yaba, he sold one Toyota 2008 Model car worth N10,000,250 belonging to one Oluwaseyi Ogolo – the petitioner and converted the proceeds for his use.

Azeez, a vulcanizer of age 42 was arraigned by the Lagos State Police Command at the Yaba Magistrates’ Court. The Command stated that the complainant seeked for his service to sell the car. He sold it and failed to remit the money to the owner.
