The United States Mission Nigeria has praised the Isolo council leader, Hon. Remy Shittu Remy for taking educational materials to 120 students of Ajumoni Senior Grammar School, Okota, Isolo LCDA in their various homes.
The compliment was made via the official Facebook account of the ambassadorial commission where Remy, an alumnus of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) who happened to be the team lead for Ajumoni Senior Grammar School and his counterpart for Jibowu High School, Yaba, Joseph Ofega, were commended for taking the delivery of the educational materials to the students’ homes.
An excerpt from the statement read: “Kudos to International Visitors Leadership Program Alumni (Lagos Chapter) who distributed educational materials to 120 students at Ajumoni Grammar School, Okota and 104 Jibowu Junior High School students in Yaba.”
Recall that ECHONEWS reported that the presentation of educational materials which include writing materials, mathematical sets, past questions and a face mask, all contained in a backpack, was part of the graduation ceremony supposed to be held for the students who participated in the 6-week annual mentorship program held in their schools prior to the declaration of lockdown on school activities.
