Nigeria U17 head coach, Bankole Olowookere has vowed not to provide any breathing space for Central Africa Republic (CAR) in their U17 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying return leg in Abuja.

The Flamingos cruised to a 6-0 first leg victory in Douala, Cameroon as they take on their opponent at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

Bankole said his side won’t be leaving any stone unturned despite having a wide first leg goal margin.

The experienced gaffer stated the second leg will be taken seriously and they won’t underrate their opponent.

“We will not be taking any chances. It is a FIFA World Cup qualifier and even though we won the first leg by a wide margin, there is the need to take the return leg as seriously and fire on all cylinders. We will not be taking our feet off the pedal,” Bankole said.

Nigeria will hope to seal their place in the next round of the U17 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers with an aggregate win against CAR.
