Soccer clinic helps players to learn more skills, keep them away from violence – Segun Akoni

As we fast approach the summer schools break, football loving kids are looking forward to the Summer Soccer Clinic where kids within the age of 4-16 will be taught the basics, professional aspect of the game and intensity of the game of football.
The convener and organizer of the Summer Soccer Clinic, Segun Akoni noted that, the idea of the Summer Soccer Clinic came into being when he discovered that, some football coaches don’t teach their players the basics of the game.
The aim of the Summer Soccer Clinic is to keep the children busy by learning more skills and techniques to keep them away from violence.
The organizer said plans are also underway with influential people to seek for sponsorship for the talented ones among them.
“Summer Soccer Clinic idea came up when I discovered that lots of coaches don’t teach children more about the basis of soccer, as In techniques and basic skills needed to become a really Professional in soccer.
“Basic benefits is reorientation about the Game so as to become a better and a great player.
“Another Aim is to seek for scholarship to be a student Athletes for those Who are well nurtured through our system.”
