Six pupils bag scholarship for excellent performance

Elshaddai School in Ejigbo has awarded six of its pupils in the primary category with one-term scholarship for their excellent academic performance in the just concluded academic session.
The award was presented to the pupils during the school 30th Graduation and Prize Giving ceremony held at the school field.
The primary school, which was established in 1989, had its secondary school in the year 2002 named Wenby’s College.
Speaking about the scholarship, the school Principal, Mrs. Abosede Falua, said the decision to award the best students every session started about four years ago, and the motive is to encourage the students to pursue academics excellently and to always strive to be the best amongst their mates.
She charged the outgoing students to prove to the world that they are well equipped academically and morally, to be strong and always make a difference wherever they find themselves.
She further encouraged the students to be the change they desire and do things differently while preserving the good name of the school.
The Head Teacher, Mrs. A. R. Adeleye also charged the pupils who got the award to keep it up, while urging others to also strive to be the best next session saying that the school would always appreciate excellence.
The pupils who got the scholarship are Fatiye Boluwatife, Ikechukwu Chioma, Elvehike Christabel, Dike Emeka and Showunmi Ayobami.
