Signet Youth Championship: Enticing Offers Up For Grabs

The second edition of the Signet Youth Championship has been scheduled to kickoff on November 15 at Albati Barracks, Surulere.

The organizers have lined up exciting and lucrative offers that will be up for grabs at the youth tournament centered on exposing grassroots talented youngsters.

20 clubs will slug it out to determine the eventual winners of the tournament which will be determined through a knockout phase.

Speaking to the Press at the Press Conference/Draws, the representative of Signet, Faruq Olateju said the purpose of the tournament is to give the players a more vibrant exposure and opportunity to represent the brand in tournament outside the shores of the country.

Each participating club will be given a hundred thousand naira each as participation fee.

The organizer of the tournament, Azeez Mustapha noted that the increase of four teams to 20 teams in the second edition is due to the number of clubs who have indicated interest in Lagos State.

Ajibade Football Academy head coach, Taiwo Ajagun stated that, he’s excited about the tournament and the opportunities to be benefited by the clubs.

Papa Soccer Academy coach, James Temidayo said, he’s satisfied with the rules of engagement highlighted by the organizers.
