Rotary Club Unveils Plan For ₦11 million Raised

The Rotary Club of Eko Signature has revealed their plans for the ₦11 million raised to solve some community problems.

The interventions focused on maternal healthcare, drainage and sanitation, and livelihood support are designed to address everyday challenges that shape the quality of life for ordinary residents.

Improved maternal healthcare is expected to give expectant mothers better access to essential services, reducing the risks that often accompany pregnancy and childbirth in underserved neighbourhoods.

Upgrades to drainage and sanitation systems promise equally practical benefits. Better-managed water channels and cleaner surroundings can help curb flooding, limit the spread of waterborne diseases, and create healthier living environments. Residents who currently contend with stagnant water and poor sanitation after heavy rains stand to gain from improved mobility, reduced health hazards and more dignified public spaces.

Livelihood support forms the third pillar of the programme. By providing practical assistance to households seeking more stable sources of income, the initiative aims to strengthen economic resilience at the community level. Families that benefit may find new pathways to self-reliance, reduced financial pressure and greater capacity to meet basic needs.
