He identified that time wastage is not peculiar to the youths alone as many elderly ones especially the leaders are guilty of the problem.

According to him, time management is one of what God Almighty would ask human beings about especially at their youthful age, knowing that many people are prone to time wastage in their youth.

He also said that human beings would account for their wealth based on its source and how it is spent while in life.

He stated: “Youths should take care of their youthful age before old age comes. Many don’t know the importance of time and some know but don’t know how to use it.

“You must use your time to please God and not to displease Him. Time waits for no one no matter what you do with it. Time is life, and whatever you do with it, time keeps going and that is why Muslims must plan how to use their day.”

The Chairman of the Day, Habeeb Anibaba, also said that time wasted can never be regained while life continues, advising the youths to do the right thing at the right time as he charged them to disabuse their minds of the belief that they are still young.
