The coordinator of the Ikoba Principal Cup Preseason, Olayinka Shokoya has lamented the age cheat by participating schools in the tournament.
The preseason tourney is being held at the Wahab Folawiyo high school, Lagos Island.
Shokoya said he was alerted about the non professionalism by some schools who violated the rules and regulations of the competition.
He added that investigation is on and any school indicted would be fined and disqualified from taking part in the tournament.
“I was not around in some matches but the reports i got from other organisers showed that some schools violated the rules by using students who are above official age to play in particular category of Principal Cup Pre Season,” he said.
“Presently some schools are under investigation and once the disciplinary commiittee found them guilty, such schools would be fined and disqualified.”
The tournament have served as a preparatory ground for schools ahead of the state and nationwide Principals Cup.
