Osolo demands more CSR from Chi Limited

The Osolo of Isolo, Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka has charged Chi Company Limited to engage in more Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in the community.
The monarch made the demand when he visited the company located in Ajao Estate, Isolo on Tuesday last week.
The monarch who went with a retinue of his chiefs was received by the top officials of the company led by the Managing Director, Roy Deepanjan.
The Senior Special Assistant to the monarch who doubles as the Vice Chairman of Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Area D Command, Mushin, Hon. Adegboyega Adeleke explained that the rationale behind the visitation was to encourage the multinational company to increase its support for the community and complement government’s efforts.
Welcoming the monarch, Deepanjan pledged that the company would respond to the royal request soon and continue to be socially responsible in the community.
He stated that regardless of the global economic setback which has forced many companies to reduce their workforces, none of its employees has been laid off since coronavirus pandemic broke out, adding that all the workers are fully paid.
The recent royal visit was the second visitation by the monarch to the company since he ascended the throne 16 years ago and the company’s 40 years of existence in Ajao Estate, Isolo LCDA.
On his entourage were the Baale of Ilasamaja, High Chief Fatai Abereijo; the Olorogun of Isolo, High Chief Wasiu Saka; the Bashorun of Isolo, High Chief Mufutau Arowooye.
