Oshodi Local Government Area has prioritized building strong security infrastructure for the protection of lives and property as the primary responsibility of government.
Speaking during a stakeholders meeting held at the Secretariat recently, the Executive Chairman, Oshodi Isolo LGA, Hon. Bolaji Muse Ariyoh, who reminded the audience that his administration has been able to adopt security infrastructure into bye law, said that it was now at the stage of execution.
He therefore employed all concerned individuals and bodies to join in the improvement of the infrastructure when executed.
He added that it was pertinent for all hands to be on deck to ensure the implementation of the bye law, to strengthen the community policing which needs the effective collaboration of the CDC and other stakeholders.
After much deliberation, the stakeholders arrived at resolution that would increase the security of Oshodi and in one voice they agreed to take the LGA to greater heights.
The meeting engaged the executive council members, legislative arm, community development committee (CDC) and the leaders of market association in line with the execution of security law passed by the local government legislature.
