Oshodi LG HOD Agric, Rural Devt seeks CDC’s support

The newly appointed Head of Department, Agric and Rural Development, Oshodi Local Government, Onashokun Holiday, has appealed to the Community Development Committee (CDC) members for support to effectively discharge her duty as regards community development
Oludayo, who made the requested during the CDC’s meeting at Oshodi Local Government Secretariat today, promised to visit the three zones (Mafoluku, Oshodi and Shogunle) to get herself familiar with all the Community Development Areas (CDAs) within the local government.
The CDC Chairman, Alhaji R O Alamutu assured her of the CDC’s topmost
cooperation to deliver effectively.
Meanwhile, Alamutu charged the CDAs to regularize their details at Alausa, noting that only 31 CDAs among 54 registered were recognized at the State Secretariat.
He also urged each CDA to get comprehensive list of houses within its community and submit for proper identification.
He mentioned that the Cleaner Lagos Initiative (CLI) forwarded some numbers
(08023228844, 08029054990) to the CDC for their refuse collection within
their vicinity.
He further explained that the Initiative sought partnership with the youths in their various communities to assist in CLI revenue generating fund, promising that 30 per cent of the revenue would be given to support their CDA.
The CDC Secretary, Mamora Abiodun, advised Aduke Thomas, Onikewunla Araromi and Abamayo CDAs to update their particulars.
