Primary schools in Orile Agege Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have been equipped with computers to enhance sound quality education for the pupils.
The equipment was powered by the LCDA chairman, Babatunde Johnson.
According to him, education is one of the administration’s focal points, and the mission is to leave an enduring legacy with the provision of quality education under a conducive environment with appropriate learning tools.
He noted that his passion gave birth to the creation of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) centres in the primary schools within the LCDA.
Hundreds of computer sets have been delivered and Orile Primary School is one of the first schools to benefit from the venture.
He promised that more computers would be provided to have all the primary schools in Orile Agege LCDA benefited from the special dividend of democracy.
“The world is a global village already and it’s better to catch them young .”
He further pledged to be committed to taking children out of the streets and to give hope to the less privileged, which he said has been his driving force.
