Ogundimu commiserates with fire victims, donates N1m

The member, Lagos State House of Assembly representing Agege Constituency II, Hon. Oluyinka Ogundimu has educated the residents on preventive measures to avoid fire outbreaks in the area as he commiserated with the victims of the recent fire outbreak at Olowokere Street in the council area.
The fire outbreak affected a building and five shops along the street.
While expressing his sympathy, he advised residents to turn off appliances while not in use, avoid using phones in the kitchen, avoid fueling the generator while it is on, take precautionary measures while lighting gas cookers, use rechargeable lamps instead of candles, avoid smoking in sensitize areas, ensure proper wiring connections, avoid overloading electrical sockets and many more to prevent fire outbreak.
He donated N1 million as part of his consolation to the traders and residents of the affected building.
Ogundinmu, therefore, appreciated that no life lost to the incident despite the uproar.
