Monsuru OBE for building  a N1.7 million culvert at Apoeso and Falana junctions to ease the perennial flood causing obstruction to vehicular movement.

Welcoming the chairman to the occasion, the Pastor in charge,  Olubunmi Ajayi, said the National RCCG General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye who always encourages all church branches to execute community social responsibility,  inspired the project.

Noting that it will ease the plight of the masses in their host communities, Ajayi said it is a voluntary donation to make positive impact on the lives of people.

“Although our government in Ejigbo is an effective one, that does not restrict us from supporting the government in the development of the community. This project is an example of such support and we plan to do more God willing.”

Commending the gesture, the Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Hon. Monsurudeen Bello (Obe),  said the effort of the church has been recognized by the council, saying the project was a sincere devotion and service to humanity which his government has always encouraged.

“Our service also extends to collaborating with diligent people or organisations that plan to contribute to the society with necessary equipment and personnel when needed.

“We glorify God for helping us in the last few years of my tenure in Ejigbo as we have added more value in different sectors such as road and other infrastructures which is in continuation of what we met on ground as we carefully selected and constructed plan B roads that are seen as diversion roads from the main roads in order to reduce pressure on the main road and to help preserve them more from  damage.”

The RCCG project manager, Mr. P. A. Ojedokun commended the council chairman for having confidence and trust in RCCG when the project proposal was brought to him in carrying out their proposed project through his help and supervision.
