The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area branch, has given cash gifts to widows among its council members so they can enjoy the holiday season with their families in the spirit of love sharing among friends, families, colleagues, and others.
According to Comrade Adesina Arowosafe, the Chairman of the Union, the purpose of the monetary gifts was to provide them with financial support during this season.
Arowosafe stated that since God gave His only son, Jesus Christ, to the world out of His boundless love, everyone should emulate this act by genuinely helping those in need in our community.
Within his second time in office, Arowosafe reaffirmed his dedication to employee welfare.
