New Year Message: Alimosho LG Promises Improved Security, Infrastructure, and Youth Empowerment

The leadership of Alimosho Local Government has reaffirmed its commitment to people-centred governance, improved service delivery and inclusive development as residents usher in the New Year.
In a New Year message to residents, the council leadership expressed gratitude to God for life and the progress recorded across communities in 2025, while acknowledging the resilience, cooperation and trust of residents as key drivers of development.
The administration said the New Year presents fresh opportunities to consolidate existing gains, strengthen social cohesion and deepen development efforts across Alimosho, describing the local government as a model of unity in diversity.
According to the statement, the council will prioritise inclusive growth, enhanced security, youth empowerment, infrastructural development and the creation of sustainable economic opportunities in the coming year.
The leadership also pledged continued engagement with stakeholders, including traditional institutions, community leaders and residents, to ensure governance remains participatory, transparent and responsive to the needs of the people.
Residents were urged to embrace the New Year with hope, discipline and renewed faith, while working collectively to build a more peaceful, prosperous and progressive Alimosho.
The message concluded with goodwill wishes to households across the local government, expressing optimism for good health, success and increased prosperity in the year ahead.
