As part of effort to boost the wealth of his community through healthy living among the people of Mushin, the chairman of Mushin Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye has organised a two-day “Free Chest Screening” for all the members of staff in the council and the generality of Mushin residents.
The exercise which commenced at the council secretariat, had health officials from the state with mobile diagnostic truck used to examine various chest associated life threatening ailments.
The services being carried out to detect and treat such diseases include Blood Pressure Check, Covid-19 Vaccination, HIV Test, and Tuberculosis Screening.
Staff and political office holders were treated, while the general residents were asked to visit the council secretariat to access the free health facilities.
The programme is under the supervision of Primary Health Care and Disease Control unit of Health and Medical Services Department, Mushin Local Government.
