MohBad’s Death: Naira Marley Presents Self To Police In Lagos
One of the prime suspects in the death of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, Mohbad, Singer Afeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, has presented himself to the Lagos State Police Command.
Naira Marley who arrived in Lagos on Tuesday said he had come to assist in the ongoing probe of the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka MohBad.
The singer revealed this in a tweet on Tuesday, adding that he would be ready to meet with the police.
He wrote, “I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole.
“I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”
Meanwhile, his picture with men of the Nigeria police surfaced via his Twitter Handle later Tuesday night where he had gone to present himself.
In a statement last Tuesday, Naira Marley vowed to clear his name and prove innocence of his involvement in the death of Mohbad.
The Marlian Music added that he was ready to assist the police investigation surrounding the MohBad’s death.
MohBad died on September 12 at age 27.
He was buried on September 13. However, following an investigation by the Lagos State Police Command to unravel the cause of his death, Mohbad’s remains were exhumed for an autopsy.
