Man Remanded For Defiling Minor

A proceeding at the Ikorodu Magistrates’ Court has remanded one Kajola Ahmed for defiling a 12-year-old girl.
Ahmed, 54, was held in a correctional centre for subsequent trial on one charge of defilement.
Police Prosecutor, ASP Aminu Issac, told the court that the defendant commited the offence on July 17, 2024 at about 11am, at No. 28, Tomatee Hotel Street, Ajegunle in the Ita-Oluwo area of Ikorodu.
Isaac disclosed that the offence contravened the provisions of Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The court did not take the suspect’s plea. The matter was adjourned till February 27 for legal advice from the office of the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions, DPP.
