The Member representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr. Adewale Temitope Adedeji, has introduced ‘JIGI JAH 2.0’ program to offer free eye examinations and distribute 750 free prescription glasses to residents in need.

Echonews reports that the initiative underscores Mr. Adewale Temitope’s continued dedication to enhancing healthcare access and improving the well-being of his constituents.

“Good vision is essential for daily life, education, and work. Unfortunately, many people in our community struggle to afford the eye care they need,” said Hon Adewale Temitope. “This programme is a step towards ensuring that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, can see clearly and live healthier lives.”

The three-day event will kick off with free eye screenings conducted by qualified optometrists. After a comprehensive eye exam, individuals will receive the appropriate prescription and those in need will be given a pair of high-quality medical eye glasses at no charge.

The programme is scheduled for Thursday, July 25, Friday, July 26, and Saturday, July 27, at The Unity Centre (Constituency Office), Elliot Bus Stop, Ifako-Ijaiye, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

In the previous JIGI JAH event, Mr. Adewale Temitope distributed 500 free medical glasses to constituents.
