The acting Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Dr. Oluremi Olaleye, has commended the Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru for facilitating some developmental projects into the school.
The projects include 40-bed Hospital and Dental Centre, 200 solar-powered street lights, as well as construction of Sabo Sagamu road.
The Ag. VC gave the commendation when the senator paid a working visit to the University on Friday.
The senator, in the company of the VC and other members of the executive management of the school visited the site to inspect the project and ascertain the quality and level of the work being done.
He, therefore, promised to do more on the request of the VC, who tipped the senator on some other infrastructures needed in the school.
