The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Isolo LCDA has announced Tuesday, July 6, as the day to formally inaugurate the party’s campaign team for the forthcoming local government elections.
The Party Chairman, Barr. Ganiu Bello made this known while constituting members of the team during the weekend.
Bello hinted that the inauguration ceremony to be held at Hillcrest Event Centre, Ago-Okota is in preparation for huge victory for the party in the forthcoming elections.
He explained that the committee will be working with the already established campaign team of Olasoju headed by Jamiu Omotayo (Jacco) as Director-General and Apostle Oluwole Idowu as Deputy Director-General.
Bello stated that Hon. Kayode Ademiluyi, Hon. Sikiru Adeshina (Current), Otunba Jide Oni, Sylvester Obi and Prince Monsuru Agbabiaka (Ijoba) will serve as chairmen of the Planning and Strategy Committee, Contact and Mobilization Committee, Finance Committee, Ethnic Committee and Security Committee respectively.
Other members of the campaign committee include Hon. Wale Temowo, Hon. Wasiu Oketoki, Hon. Musbau Dorishamu, Balogun Mojeeb Adam, Alhaji Taiwo Ifigbe, Chief Nixon Okwara, Chief Jaiyeola Ajatta, Princess Olateru Adegbegi, Hon. Niyi Fabikun, Mark Eleribe, Daniel Ejiofor, Sunday Darmina, Kehinde Abereijo and others.
The party chairman, however, urged all ward chairmen to also set up such committees in their respective wards in order to further solidify the campaign as he pronounced them members of the committee as well as the campaign directors in their respective wards.
The former Lagos State APC Chairman, Chief Oladele Ajomale, appreciated all party members for their support for Olasoju and other candidates, urging them to work for the final success.
