At the grand finale of the Jogo Talent Hunt, award of pillar of sport was given to Fatai Tijani popularly known as Oloke for his Philanthropic gesture in promoting sporting talents and helping the less privilege in the society as he advised the players in the grassroots to be determined and focused in their pursuit of greatness.
Speaking with ECHONEWS, Oloke noted how happy he was and pledged to always continue to support the growth of sport in the grassroots.
“We really thank God for the success of the competition, which had massive followers throughout Lagos State.
“I am really happy for award given to me despite so many people that are in Oshodi. It’s not easy to have a team that I sponsor and all other Philanthropic works that I have done to promote sports in the grassroots and I give glory to God.
“Definitely, people will see more of me next year and I will continue to do my best to promote sport in the grassroots and I have a very disciplined club (Oloke FC) that doesn’t go against the rules of engagements in any competition.
“My advice to the players in the grassroots is to focus on their career and shouldn’t get carried away by the success of other players. Players should be determined to be successful in their career, they should be disciplined and focus on training activities.”
