Ikorodu LG Chairman Pledges Road Construction on Eleshin Street

The Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina, has announced plans to extend the council’s road construction initiatives to Eleshin Street in 2025.
This announcement was made during the Annual Ikorodu Local Government Inter-Religion Prayer Session and Thanksgiving, held at the council’s Secretariat Hall.
The event provided an opportunity for government officials and stakeholders to reflect on the previous year’s achievements and seek divine guidance for the year ahead.
Eleshin Street, located in Ward G of the local government area, is set to benefit from the administration’s ongoing efforts to improve road infrastructure. Hon. Adesina emphasized the importance of these projects in enhancing connectivity and accessibility within Ikorodu.
“We shall be taking our road construction to the Eleshin area very soon,” the chairman said. “Our administration remains committed to delivering impactful projects that address the needs of our people.”
The chairman also highlighted some recently completed road projects, including the Italewa Ajina Road, Sanni Arowolo Road, and Dada Street, which have been widely praised for their contribution to easing transportation challenges in the area.
Additionally, Hon. Adesina revealed that the Solomade/Adekayaoja Road, another key project under his administration, has been completed and will be officially commissioned in the coming weeks. The road has been lauded by residents for its quality and significance to the community.
The prayer session was attended by members of the legislative arm, the executive council, management, and staff of the local government. It featured interfaith prayers, reflections, and thanksgiving for the council’s accomplishments and future plans.
Hon. Adesina’s announcement reaffirms his administration’s focus on infrastructural development and its commitment to the well-being of Ikorodu residents.
