In a heartwarming display of kindness and compassion, the Igbogbo Platinum Lions Club donated essential baby items and cash support to nursing mothers and pregnant women at the Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA Primary Health Center in Agbele, Igbogbo.
The donation, which included baby bath tubs, diapers, baby wipes, baby bed nets, and more, was aimed at alleviating the challenges faced by new mothers and expectant women in the community. The club’s generosity was further extended through cash support, providing financial assistance to those in need.
Lion Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko, President of the Igbogbo Platinum Lions Club, expressed her club’s commitment to serving the community, particularly vulnerable groups like nursing mothers and pregnant women. “We recognize the importance of supporting our community’s most precious assets – our children and their caregivers,” she said. “Through this donation, we aim to make a positive impact on their lives and well-being.”
Banjoko emphasized the club’s dedication to making a difference, stating, “Our goal is to bring hope and joy to those who need it most, and we are proud to be a part of this community’s support network.”
