Member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Badagry Federal Constituecy, Honourable Sesi Whingan, has launched a three-day digital marketing training program in the community.
The event’s facilitator informed that the initiative which began on Thursday to run till Saturday, September 15, 2024, is aimed at empowering the youths in the community for a better living condition.
Sesi, represented by Sedegla Pot at the flag up of the exercise hinted that the participants will be tutored on digital literacy alongside entrepreneur skills so as to compete in the evolving digital economy.
He added that the event put together in collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, SMEDAN, alongside Samjez Resource Services Limited will harness digital platforms which will in turn enhance economic empowerment and growth.
Sesi said, “This program reflects our commitment to supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development in Badagry.
“Experts in the digital marketing industry will grace the event to offer participants with advanced knowledge in social media management, online business strategies, and e-commerce development.”
The participants were encouraged to leverage on the knowledge gained at the event to get empowered and also become employers of labour.
