Go for your PVC, Bamigbetan urges Oshodi, Isolo, Ejigbo residents, says over 52,000 yet to be collected

The Lagos state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Kehinde Bamigbetan, has urged the residents of Oshodi, Isolo and Ejigbo local government areas to go and pick up their permanent voters’ cards (PVCs), saying that there are over 52,000 PVCs waiting for collection by citizens from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Bamigbetan, who gave the advice through his Facebook page, hinted that the PVCs remained the power of the people to make good choice of the representatives during the coming general elections.

He further admonished all other eligible voters who have not registered with the INEC to do so for them not to be disenfranchised.

He said, “Good morning. If you live in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area, including Ejigbo and Isolo LCDAs, I have a message for you. There are over 52,000 permanent voters’ cards yet to be collected by citizens from the Independent National Electoral Commission. Please pick your PVC today.”

Meanwhile, the commissioner urged the electorate to vote wisely so s to continue enjoying the dividends of democracy which they have been enjoying in Oshodi, Isolo and Ejigbo and across the Lagos State.
